If everyone else's resume contains any of the following, it would have been so much easier for me to get a job ;P

- Salary Expected: Demands salary commiserate with my extensive experience.

- "I have lurnt WordPerfect 6.0 computal and spreadsheat programmes."

- Relevant achievements: Finished eight in my class of ten.

- Special skills: Am i prefectionist and rarely if if ever forget details.

- Note: Please dont misconstrue my 14 jobs as "job-hopping". I have never quit a job.

- Reason for leaving last job: they insisted that employees get to work by 8:45 every morning. Could not work under such a condition.

As difficult as it was; i found a job in the 2nd week of my sem break.

The header of YPF’s board reads:

YO  NG PEOPLE’S FELLOWSHIP

Can see what’s missing? The person in charge of Publicity, who shall remain anonymous (wink wink to jooling) has failed to see it.

Anyway, being the usual kepoh, I do other ppl’s work.

And in case I forget that I can actually paint by the time I’m a practising entrepreneur, here:

This is the unpainted words. Ignor the missing 'H' In my opinion, it looks good with my room's floor. i'm actually standing on a chair when i took this pic. the camera's viewing radius is just.. limited

Don’t need a genius to figure out what’s next.

Painting, the main reason of me doing this =)

I miss getting my hands mucky. Like this:

Hee.. YPF gonna get a revamped board.

One man show brings fast results.

And the satisfaction is just so... satisfying. ekekeke

Now who wanna talk about intrinsic rewards?

So yeah, i went cycling in putrajaya. maybe i'm getting old, i'm actually enjoying such one-day-trips. i meant those really boring trips that involves boat paddling, cycling, boat paddling, cycling, boat paddling, cycling and boat paddling. i'm deprived.

Mothers day is coming up. So, halt. And think of our mothers.

________________________________________________________________

Honestly, time and time again i've taken my mum for granted. I cannot even recall when was the last time i said 'thank you' to her. Now, what i meant, is gratitute that comes from the heart, not the 'thank you's that come after she grants me a big favour.. Its so easy for me to throw her a casual 'thank you'. so much so that it makes it difficult for me to thank her without a reason.

Only today, Adrian told me how seldom he communicate with his mum.  I think my case is no different. when mothers attempt to strike a conversation, all they get from us are YALAHs. Yeah, frequent communication is sure desireable. But heck, its not like we cant live with less of it. Eversince i entered primary school, i dont tell my parents anything concerning my activities in school and they have never asked. And we live just as fine. All they needed to know are things that are told to them on 'report card day' Its not a bad thing tho. i see it as trust. Besides, some things are better off without their knowledge.

Naturally, my mum, being a typical parent (....its mothers' day afterall, i'm not gonna be nasty.) has countless verbal war with her son. Its simple. Look, I'm known to be stiff-neck. I'm her son. I have her traits. She's just as stubborn. So when our opinion clashes, things can get pretty out of hand.

But that's not my point. Deep down i know i love my mum. Awful lot. Its highly doubted that my mum would be reading this. So i just want my mum to know that she's appreciated. But... looking into the content of my wallet... i think i'll save it for next year.

Bottomline: I'll leave it to my eldest sis to plan my mum's day while i tell my mum how shrewd entrepreneurs profit from meaningless occassions as such. I'm a lousy son.

i technically raced my way to church on last wednesday.

I've never drove more dangerously.

Its all because of my sister, she returned late from work, and i had to wait for the car.

practice starts at 8:30, she reached home at 8:40. Not to mention that chin yee offered to send me to LRT to get the car (this is how chin nee goes to work everday: drive to LRT, take LRT to KLCC). it was of pure kindness i tell u, she was sick that time! so anyway, upon reaching the LRT:

CY: call er jie and ask her where the car is parked.

call pending...

-crap cut-

CN: i'm reaching, 10 seconds away from home.

I tell u, her timing is impeccable.

when i finally got into the car, i imagined Alvin showing his smug face, written all over with "hah, you're late, and i dont wanna know why."

and aunt Ai Ling, being upset and all.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Biar LAMBAT, asalkan SELAMAT

this saying is so outdated.

so outdated that it can hardly apply anymore

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

dont believe me ?

Next time when you're late for work, try telling your boss, this beautiful ancient, and almost historical saying "biar lambat, asalkan selamat."

Trust me, the last thing he wants u to be is to be safe.

Thank God that the last time u did that, he didnt make history out of you.

So here's the thing, u drive crazily fast, dont crash, reach in time, you're safe.

otherwise, you're dead meat.

And i wasnt too late for the practice =P

driven to blog right bfore exams, i duno why.

bah, who cares, i'm all prepared for marketing tmrw, ONLY that i have not studied.

read the previous line again.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

why ?

because I had so many things to do

And

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Even

would be enticing right now.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And, i have got extremely 'encouraging' pals such as this :

(sorry, its too small to be read by u)

Ahh, ask me to do anything except study for exams and i'll gladly do it.

Sadly, you've just missed the chance to.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I called up chris a couple of hours ago. Asked which are the parts that will be covered for tmrw's exam.

cw: ey, chris

chris: yea ?

--------------(cut the crap)---------------

cw: so we can read just one topic for one question la ?

chris: yah.

cw: hmm, i've covered marketing concepts and philosophies.

chris: that Ms. Alice say if sample come out philo., then concept will be asked in exams. so..

cw: our sample is concept hor ?

chris: philosophies lah.

cw: oh, kk.

cw: i've got 3 more topics to go then

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dont understand ?

For unrelated peeps:

our subject outline states this

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mid-Sem Exam:

Q1:

     Marketing Concept

     Marketing philosophies

     Marketing Environment

Q2:

     Strategic marketing planning

     Marketing information

Q3:

     Marketing Segmentation

     Targeting and Positioning

     Demand forecasting

Q4:

     Marketing in Business markets

     Marketing in Consumer’s market

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After looking and examining the topics

Cw's guideline says this:

Q1:

     Marketing Concept

Marketing philosophies (chris mentioned, no need to read)

Marketing Environment (i don’t care about this, and to those who have read it. do u ?)

Q2:

     Strategic marketing planning (sounds difficult)

     Marketing information

Q3:

     Marketing Segmentation

(too bad to the other two. I listened to this part of the lecture, at least I think so.)

     Targeting and Positioning

     Demand forecasting

Q4:

     Marketing in Business markets

     Marketing in Consumer’s market

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

so i'm left with 3 topics.

Just in case you were wondering, i'm not cheating.

i'm utilising what the college has given me.

I'm a risk taker, isn't that what businessmen suppose to be ?

(dont u wish to become a lecturer nex time and hook cheating scums like me during exams ?)

so its only 3, u may think

Yeah. 1 topic can take quite some time out of my life, u know!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alright, mr. please-panic-before-exams just revisited me.

Oh wait, i'm not scared because of the exams.

Rather, i'm scared because i'm not scared of exams.

Anyway, i better go for now.

Thank goodness for

So, anyone gonna teman me burn midnight oil ?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
